Having completed an apprenticeship in a large hospital and having worked in several other hospitals both as an employee and contractor, Craig has the experience and skills to inspect your patient care area and help keep it compliant and safe.

Avoidance of Macro and Micro shock within the medical environment is foremost the reason for the extra care around medical electrical installations in the medical arena.
It is important that equipment used to test these installations is calibrated and capable of proving compliance or not.
In patient care areas, electricity produces a significant risk of harm to patients, especially if the main resistance to electricity(skin ) is broken or reduced.
This is the main reason there are additional protective measures (including medical electrical inspection) to mitigate the possibility of harm and why there are mandatory regulations ensuring that those protective devices are working properly and within set parameters.

This is to ensure that any potential problem has a reduced chance to provide the voltage needed to provide harmful currents or shock potential
Electrical Patient Care Leakage Current Test (Line Leakage Test) LIM & RCD
These tests confirm the device will protect the patient or flag remedial action.
Thermal imaging of existing installations is recommended to facilitate the remedial maintenance of potential
problems within the circuit boards in medical electrical installations.
